Technical Magnetic Oil Drain Plug - Anyone have it?

Did anyone here install a magnetic oil drain plug in their car?

They're replacement plugs that are magnetic so they catch small bits of metal floating in the oil and prevents them from damaging the engine.

I thought all oil plugs are magnetic - stock ones too....

Are you sure that the standard one is magnetic?

There are a lot of people replacing their standard ones with aftermarket magnetic ones for other cars than the bravo so it's clearly not something standard on all cars.

No, I have no specific information about that, I just always believed it is the case. Someone told me or read somewhere, don't really remember...

During normal use, minute particles of metal will be worn off. These are caught in the oil filter.
A magnetic plug will catch them, but they will build up between oil changes, creating a metallic fluffy lump on the plug, which will frighten you when you change the oil.
