Cheers ed, get your pics up asap! I was good meeting you and the 1.4 16v gsr induction sounds absolutely amazing.

Since the strip out its alot more planted if not a little skittish on the back end (to be expected as most of the weight is a the front). Plus the power to weight os better. Those back seats are heavy. But it seems a shame as I have the leather, and theres only so much fun you can have watching tv at home on a bench seat :p

Yeah i will do mate!! They're on there way honestly! Gonna get them on a memory stick tomorrow off Jamie and i'll whack them on here! Was great meeting all of you...its always good to goto a first meet and get on with everyone...gets you in the mood to goto more!!

Mmmm, it sounds like its definately the way to go...i'm having a look into it to see what I can get going...maybe a rear strut brace 350Z style lmao. But yeah, that leather interior is awesome and with the amount of power you're now carrying i'm sure you can have far more fun with the back seats in their rightful place!!! :p

How did I only find this thread now...

Looks great Kris, liking the vinyl aswell :p. What's this about stripping out the rear - where the hell have I been?????? Pics, now damnit!

Sounds like the gains are good, may come up to red dot and see if they can improve on my map, sounds like they'rea good bunch of lads.

Tom

Cheers tom, I'll make a thread this week sometime on the car.

The gains are definitely worth it and noticceable over the normal map. Driveability and delivery is alot better aswell!

I've looked for rear strut braces but the only one you are going to find is a universal job which means drilling or welding

Looked pretty awesome last night mate i must say!

Im well impressed with it. But OMG where the f*ck are the revs? Changing at 3100rpm is just WRONG!

O, and i think there's something else ur missing as well :p

Cheers tommy, the ST was looking sweet as usual aswell mate. Think you're missing some torque!

Yea I wouldn't really want to start doing things like welding or drilling rear strutbraces to a nice 07 plate car unless you're going to properly track it.

Puntokris, are you planning on returning the car to standard when you come to sell it or sell it as it is? I imagine it will take some work to return it back to standard with all the stuff you have done.

Depends, I'll probably sell it as it is and just remove the bits that are easy to sell.

Only a days work to get most of it off I reckon anyway if I needed to put it back to standard.

I sold my mk2 with alot of mods on quite quickly and for a good price.

I just worry about modifying my car that when i come to sell it that people will think it has been ragged around and abused when it will in fact be the complete opposite.

I feel your pain.

I bet my GP has been looked after and maintained better than 90% of GPs on the road. No expense spared and a completely cared for car.

But nobody sees that.
You have to sell to the right audience.

This is the one thing that everyone seems to come back to...but yeah...at the end of the day...if you can prove its been cared for with all the documentation and that to back it up then you should have nothing to worry about...that said, once i'm done i'd imagine i'll return mine to standard..."one careful lady owner..."

I'm worried about that too, but thats why i'm trying to only do mods that are subtle or can be removed. Ok red callipers cannot be removed but i think they actually suit the car better, panda 100hp's, new 500 sportings and the new bravo sporting's come with red callipers standard from the factory.

you could always get new callipers aswell if you really wanted to go back fully to standard...but just make sure you keep the standard bits and it'll be fine!
