Actually, if you read the Punto etc columns, you see all too much of the above type of "street talk"/ text speak. God knows how they understand each other!- the use of grammar is appalling.

BTW bra, I used to have a 130TC Abarth Strada in the 80's, red mk1 A998 KLB,
due to tinworm had to get new bonnet, hatchback, but repaired doors and underneath rear pop out windows, they dont make um like they used to...
Loved the torquey growly engine though, instant grunt, and close ratio gearbox..
How good is your Abarth, any mods?, do you actually drive it?
P.S. I have a Qubo multijet to, and love it, more torque than an Abarth 130TC....for a few revs..

I don't really want to hijack Steve's thread re Luigi, but you can form your own opinion re my 130Tc by viewing here. Mainly cosmetic mods- new Abarth cam covers etc, reinstating the wind deflectors- and a rear louvre, very 80s - just about to fit a "tailblazer" too.
I drive it often,attend car events and shows out here- I think it's pretty good, and it drives well.

Today is the big day for ''Luigi'' as he goes to the body shop for a make over after the incident with the warrior.
Mirror caps came in time to be painted while he is there.
As i said at the beginning of the post there will be some photos of the repair being done from start to finish, so watch this space.
Also the car ''bennetts'' gave me was a spanking new VW up.
What can i say, well i was quite impressed with it, like a gocart
It was the basic model, i have to put a key in a lock to lock and un lock it, i can't remember the last time i did that! , i even have to open the window by hand...........nope haven't done that for years either!
Overall though, it handles well,a bit gutless, but no doubt dose a million miles to the gallon.

Done 87 miles on a tenna

Quick Calc......not sure what you pay for fuel, and guessing it a petrol engine.
I make it about 51 mpg. 1.29L (around our way) x 4.546 = £5.86 gall
5.86 into 10.00 = 1.7.. 1.7 into 87 = 51.
Lots of approx in there......................so only ball park, and being a poor old sod I probably went wrong...........lol

The ''up'' has a 1.1 litre engine, and i paid £1.43 a litre for shell ultimate unleaded

Phoned body shop today, and all is well.
Spoke to ''Gary'' who is the man who's doing the job, and he said that ''luigi'' is now masked up and ready for spray booth,so not long to wait now
