Last night was one of them nights. Nothing to do, thought I'd go for a drive.
Couple of mates in the car, lets go the country lanes! (Fun) Keeping to the speed limit (or what I thought) doing 30 and starting to go up the big hill towards the summit along this country road. Started to increase speed to see what my car is like pulling up hills now with my new gearbox

Bearing in mind this is 2am.. and the middle nowhere.

Speed increase, 40, 50, 60, 70.. car starts to struggle, 75, 80, 82.. 84.. 85. BRAKE!

Blue flashing lights

F**K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Errr, sorry officer thought it was national speed limit!"

"No son, you were doing more than double the speed limit up there" Ahhhhhhhhh

Bugger bugger bugger.

30 seconds later.. CID pull up. WTF?! Middle of nowhere.. I'm going jail Yeahhhhhhhhh LOL

Ok, they take my name, address, the usual etc. "ok son, watch your speed, have a good night"

Hey man, your damn lucky you dind't get a ticket, here in holland, they got to many speed controls.
So every month, I get about 1 or 2 tickets.
every time, 28 Euro,... I guess you could say i'm a regular customer, for the tickets.
Anyway what kind of cop is checking for speed violations at 2 AM.

I hadn't been pulled since around.. hmm.. August probably, and in the last three weeks I've been pulled 6 times.

If you get pulled constantly by the same police force and they don't find anything wrong with the car or actualy do you for anything i.e. speeding dangerous driving you can complain of harrassment

that happened to a friendof mine, 95 in a 30 at 1am, a disused industrial estate used as a shortcut in an industrial estate....sees police pull out of a side turning so he pulls handbrake and gradually slows down thru the gears. once stopped, they tell him to slow down, drive carefully and have a good nite. they were plain clothes police so again, something big to fry i reckon!
