LSD for HGT ?

Hi Guys;

As most of you know, I've done the shorter gear ratios & longer 5'th conversion on my 98' HGT :)

4 years of joy...

But it's now time to have something on the edge!

I'm looking for LSD for my HGT (Not a true sentence though...)

I'm looking for LSD for my HGT with an Alfa 147 2.0 GearBox !

The HGT gearbox is the exact same one with the Alfa 147 2.0 TS except the FD & 5'th gear ratios.

And If you change the stock HGT, FD & 5'th gear you'll have the exact transmission with the Alfa 2.0 TS :)

Now here comes the most important part !

Autodelta (an Alfa Mod Co.) is supplying LSD for Alfa 147 2.0 TS !!!

http://www.autodeltashop.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_44&products_id=67

Meaning, that LSD can be mounted on the HGT too...?

Well, I need to re-check my ePer DVD to find the common parts but I'm sure that, what autodelta is offering for 147 2.0 TS transmissions may be used with HGT gearbox & it is definitely an Alfa registered part !

Now, this is a dream come through !

If I succeed, I'll have the torquesteer solved out ! A killer HGT with shorter gear ratios with LSD !!!

If anyone succeed to get or know the part no. of that LSD which can be used with Alfa 147 2.0 TS transmissions, pls do inform me urgently !

Cheers...

PS: While searching for the part number, pls do enjoy with my HGT-X pics/specs @ facebook.

The one & only "OverSpec" HGT in Turkey !

FD & 5'th gear conversion !

FD & 5'th gear change makes enourmous change in driving pleasure / acceleration.

Definitely recommended...

FD change makes all the gear ratios smaller, meaning the car reacts immediately to your throttle response but... It eats out all the gears very fast !

U'll definitely need to alter the cut-off point (7.200) up to 7.500 - 7.600rpm so that U can fully enjoy the new drive ride !

And, U'll definitely need to change the 5'th gear with a long one. As the FD eats out all the gears in a blink, U have to change the 5'th so that the max. speed can reach 230-240 km/h or have some fuel saving :)

After the FD change U'll be riding in higher rpms, so this is why I changed the 5'th also.

But, If U have more power in the engine & shorter gear ratios U'll be searching for a LSD so that you can give all the power to the road :)

And I've found a better option from the autodelta's offer... Attractive price tag !

Fiat Bravo HGT 2.0 20V Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential !

PS: Checkout the bottom line; Fits: Alfa Romeo Fiat Bravo / Brava
I'm not sure about the Brav"a" but it will definitely fit the HGT 2.0 :)
