i was wondering how much differece putting a new set iof lowering springs on a mk1 punto 60 sx but i was only wanting to put the springs on for no (cheaper)

wanted to know if they would be ok just putting them on standard shocks i have

any ideas

Can you change the springs yourself? If so whats the process and any1 know how much a garage will charge to change them?
thanks

if you keep the shocks on what you have now, dont be suprised if you need to replace them in the not so distant future, im looking to do the exact same thing on my 60 sx mate, 40mm all round, the shocks on the back of mine are only a few months old but im going to change the ones on the front when i do the springs.

I've just had my sporting done, only on a 35mm drop.

It only has 24k on the clock, but was glad i had bought the shocks at the same time as the front ones had pretty much had it.

Mine cost 100quid all in for the shocks and springs to be done by RSR

try and go for 40/45 - back/front
the front doesnt look like its been lowered at all with just 40, might vary from brand to brand though. i have 40/45's atm and the front still doesnt look perfect, but its a lot better than 40m

hi, sorry to bring up an old thread but im wanting to lower my car by about 35/40mm. Im currently running 14" wheels but soon i'll be running 15".

Its a 52 plate active sport with 40K on the clock, is it worth doing the shocks aswell, or shall i just put the lower springs on and then change them when they go?

Anyone recommend some good ones?

cheers
