18"s on the Stilo are 215/40R18 as standard but you can fit 225's without any issue... I'm just not sure whether it would be 40 or 45 for them... more than likely, somewhere in between :(

Oh, and the clearance should be fine with that drop (y)

225's will be ok on any drop, as long as its not a stupid one(y)

there was massive clearance on my 215's on a 50mm drop.

no chance in rubbing(y)

Had 225/40/18's on mine with a 35mm drop and no problems with rubbing at all, looks stunning too :D

...BUT, there are possible 'other' problems with living with a lowered car tho :(

the stilo's configuration will be 225/40/18 and not 45.

i had the above on my car with a 40mm drop courtesy of the proven products (who have been renamed) System 2 kit.

no rubbing, no problems, great looks (y)

If you have a JTD I wouldn't bother, you will make contact with just about everything. It will corner nicely however.

Not on a rough surface with standard dampers it wont.

Must admit though. I just made a visit to the tip with mine to dump a load of masonry and rubbish.

Pure joy going over a really severe concrete speed bump at 3mph :spin:

When I tried it when I was down 35mm with the old Pi springs - it only just made it at 0.1mph but it still scraped

Well, those days will come to both of you - having a motor that's actually a day to day workhorse - due to necessity :D

Enjoy the play whilst you can :p

:yeahthat:

...it may look cool having your car 20mm off the floor but when you 'boys' have to do major detours on every journey due to speed bumps, pot holes, uneven road surfaces etc

...and can't take 3 of your mates out cos the weight grounds the back end on everything over 3mm high

...and have to park miles from anywhere cos the ramps in the multistory are the wrong angle and everything grounds when going up/down them

...and have parts of your body kit ripped of by the ever increasing number of pot holes in our roads

...but it still looks cool right! :D
