Hi guys. I am tearing my hair out now. I've b een looking for a suspension kit for a couple of weeks now and I'm really struggling.

Have any of you HGT owners lowered there car? I'm sure someone must have. How did you do it?

The only kit I have found is an Interalloy kit.

I'm reluctant to use it as I can't find any other info on it or anyone who has it fitted.

Any help would be grately appreciated.

I have an Interalloy kit on my 1.6 (lowered 35mm), seems ok so far, the ride is quite harsh though. I only have standard HLX alloys on aswell.

Is it from Evolution R? Did you get them to fit it? Any pics of how it sits?

Sorry for all the questions but obviously I want to make sure it's going to be a good way to blow my cash.

my hgt is lowered 30mm. the springs are spax and i bought them from demon tweeks

can i correct what Ash said?

ONLY look at eibach or FK. The rest are pretty harsh on the ride quality front...

Fk Highsport fixed shortened dampers with adjustable lowering 35-80. Absolutley fookin superb. Pref go for the stainless steel option & 100N springs. Seek out Lars at Gazzella Racing online for best price (where I got mine) ;)

Cheers guys. Just found the Gazzella one. Will have a word tomorrow and see what I can get the kit for. How difficult is it to fit? Anyone fancy giving me a hand?

No, they didn't fit it, I got a local mechanic to do it. Here's a pic:
