Hi,
I have noticed that when my car is in neutral idling and if I try to lower the electrical windows the rpm goes down a little bit, for as long as I press the button. Is this considered normal?
Thanks

Re: Lower idling when using electrical ecqupment?

Yes... the electrical load effectively puts a brake (effort) on the alternator.

Do the test yourself with any vehicle with aircon. If you turn it on your rpm drops a bit due to alternater asking power. Alternator is powered by the motor by aux belt.

I had an Opel astra 2006. When you were driving constant speed, you had to give some more extra gas to maintain speed when aircon kicked in(n)
No more opel for me:bang:

in my Daewoo Matiz 0.7 i use aircon as brake :D
