Would be good to know if anyone has any ideas.
Got a 2000 1.6SX Bravo which has done about 55k, went on holiday for a week and left it low on fuel and came back last week to find the injector light on and running as if it was on 3 cylinders.
Tried giving it a good run and some redx but it got a lot worse so took it to a Fiat garage where they diagonosed 2 faulty injectors which were replaced (£320 all in which I didnt think was bad). Appreciate in an ideal world all four should be swapped but its getting near christmas
.
It then was fine friday night when I drove it for about 20 miles. Got in it Saturday and the light came on again and stayed on for about 10 miles then went off and then came on and straight off for a couple of seconds every few minutes after that. When it does come on the engine is nowhere near as bad as last week- just feels a bit like turbo lag.
After using it sparingly over the weekend I have found that the red light stays on until the engine is warm (i.e. when the temp gauge is bang in the middle) then it goes off only to pop on and off when driving.
Have it booked in again at Fiat on wednesday but wanted to try and get an idea of what it may be and to brace myself for the cost!!
Any help appreciated!
