Yes, it's ok, dating rather quickly though, I've noticed this when I look at the cars I've parked next to at work, although the big ass Megane is dating faster!

I agree the Stilo is dating, but, that doesn't stop it being very good looking, the fact there is so few of them around helps it maintain its status as an attention grabber, everyone comments on my car, I don't think they would if I had a Focus!

I also agree the Golf is quite smart, I just think its a bit too much evolution and not enough revolution, can't really blame them when the Golf tag is such a strong brand, but I think it may have been a mistake.

As for Skoda's btw I think some of them are very nice, I really like the Superb in particular, there is something appealing about big wafty saloons, its a shame Fiat hasn't got anything in that area, they've made a few nice 'barges' in the past

James... the last time I read something about a new large sallon project from Fiat its was an on/off thing but looking at Top Gear & Italiaspeed www's its slated in for 2005! watch this space.. who knows.

The New Large will be with us in 2005. They had a prototype produced but it was deemed too poor and scrapped. They started again with a clean page. In the words of a Fiat boss "it fell a long way short of what is expected in this market segment". I'm worried... [V]

It might be getting on a bit but it's still getting the looks. I was turning my dynamic at the end of the road and had a bunch of kids in awe of it. It's got a quality about it that makes people double take.

the new golf seems to be focusing more on standard equipment and less on build quality. it's better equipped than the similarly priced corollas but the build is going downhill. i won't retail a mk4 golf or bora cos of the pain in the arse they are with warranties
