looking for some front component speakers..idea's?

im looking at putting some new speakers in my car,either 13cm or 17cm,not to sure but id like components.
any thing you guys recomend?around £40-£50.
will i need an amp to power them,or just from my headunit..its 50wx4.

I recommend you spend a bit more and get some Alpine Type-R (SPR17-LS)

For the money they are a superb speaker!

how do i get 17s to fit?
make some kind of adaptor?

Yeah, just get some bits of 12mm thick MDF, do a cardboard cutout and then transfer it onto the MDF, cut it out, cut the hole and you are sorted!
