Looking for "High" version of Marea radio

Hi,

I have the basic radio for a Marea '00 (182). I am looking for the High version (185) with CD changer control. Who can help me out?

difference

if u can tell what the difference is, i may have one, cos my mate has a sterio from his marea for sale, as he got a new one! visual difference?

Hi Mike,

The visual difference is that the AD182M (that I have) has a direct-access
cassette slot and that the AD185H2 has got a cassette slot that is covered
by a lid. The lids says "CD changer control". Besides that, the High-version
has got a row of extra keys below the numeric keys 1-6. The additional keys
are for loudness, dolby, scan etc.
When your mate checks the sticky on top/side of the unit,. it should say
AD182M or AD185H2.

I'm pretty sure AD182 are originally for the Bravo/ Brava and AD185 for Marea. (But either fits all the range). The M suffic indicates 2 channel output, no CD control and less features in general than H which has 4 channel output, CD etc. There also used to be a L range.

There are H, H2, H3 which have different styling, and more features- like I think the H2 has steering wheel control and H3 has phone connections.

I changed from an AD185M to an AD182H3 in order to get sound in the back of my Marea for the kids. Everything swapped over OK. The AD182H3 has no flap over the cassette entry slot.

u can have mine....

mine is now for sale, its is the best one u can get, its from my v reg car, and it got cd control written on it, it got loads of features, base, treble, left to right, auto search. it the one where u flic the switch and the tape cover slides up to reveal the tape input.

its totally as new, unmarked etc, with fuse still in the back

Sounds good. Which type number (i.e AD185 something) is on the label on the top/side of the unit?
And is it the unit with the four digit security code as well? If yes, then that's the one I am looking for. Please revert, I'm over in London beginnig of March, so I can pick it up at that time.

TYPE: AD182 H2

i think the the AD182 refers to bravo, and AD185 refers to marea. I think the specification refers to the H2. I has Dolby B NR, CD changer control, IS (intelligent search), RDS EON, and has a casset flap. no sure if it has a code, i will check tho, as when i took it out, i didnt reconnect it to c if it needed on.
