looking for a good fone

ive just got the samsung SGH-i300. Its got a 3gb hard drive and i cannot recommend it enough. The clarity of the screen is excellent. its got windows media player, msn messenger. It is easy to watch videos/films/tv progs on it.

W800 is good but with it not being a symbian operating system your stuck to what you can do it with it.

If you want a new phone now then get the W800, if you can wait then go for the Nokia N91 or N92.

Take a look at the NSeries website and you'll see why!

I have the W800i, best phone on the market at the moment by far! All phone shops I went to when I was looking recommended it! Go for it! you wont regret it! Phones4U Castle Mall, Norwich, have them on special monthly deals at the moment, ask for Lee he'll sort you out!

W800i is an old phone... been out since July! The new W900i is a lovely phone and it's 3g. It's only available on Vodafone atm... Orange will be brining it out soon tho.

The Nokia N-series phones are very good. I got the N70 the day it came out, still better than all the others although a little brick like!

You can't just ask the question "looking for a good phone" cos there are loads.... What do u want the phone to do, cost, size, batt life etc.

PAYG or contract?????

common, give us some hints wot your looking for!

the £10 Motorola is amazing for £10 colour screen, 1 week batt life... wot more do you need!

take photos, play mp3, listen to the radio, use it as a calculator, alarm clock, calander, adress book, stopwatch, torch, browse the net, send sms, mms, play games compose tunes, store data oh yes and i did hear that you can phone people from them :)

Good phone choice smee

lol, yes very funny ;)

I meant any extra things like GPS etc

Guess it's too late to tell you to steer clear of the rip off scum at Phones 4 U (basically, anything to do with Cauldwell Group is highly suspect. We recently took them to court and won, BIG !).

Personally I would have gone with a Nokia 6680 or N70 (identical apart from the camera lens) but Sony, Prince Of Darkness claims yet another victim :(

Yes the N70 is a good phone, and the initial choice was torn between that and the w800i, BUT the fact that the N70 is a Brick and couldnt fir in my pocket with comfort made the choice for me!

Personnally, I have a Nokia 1100.
One of the cheapest handsets on the market.
You can get it free on some PAYG deals!!
Had it nearly 2 years now.
You can make and receive calls or texts!
And it has a torch. :)
Best thing is its battery life. 7-9days between charges!

Can't fault it. Looks like it was made for Sub-Sahara Africa - hence the battery life.

All that praise of mobile phones is what the manufactures have desired to hear. The advertising the manufactures and operators have paid for has been profitable. I have once said that the mobile phone is like a drug. It makes its owner very addicted to it. Most of the people of nowdays cannot live without a mobile phone. The good news is that there is life without it. I gave up using that damn device for months ago. I am free now. No disturbing calls anymore.

Believe me living in Naaaarfolk the poor guy needs a phone!!
