500 Looking for a classic 500 with no engine

I am a newbie to this forum, one I have turned to for guidance. Specifically, I am looking to buy a classic fiat 500 that has either no motor at all, or a tired motor that is about to fade away. Ideally, the gearbox would be intact and functional. Why? Because I would like to convert the car to an all-electric vehicle. For several years now, I have driven an old BMW I converted to all-electric, but now I am looking for a much smaller car to engage that has a lot of loving history to it.

Even willing to travel to Italy to purchase it and ship it back to the U.S.

Any hints/guidance/advice/suggestions as to how to locate such a classic fiat 500 would be most appreciated.

If you are looking for a Fiat 600 Zastava there is a Serbian site where you can buy 'projects'. Its in Serbian, but have a look at pictures and Google translate will do the rest (or PM me, I can translate) Good luck!
