Technical Location of 104 joint (rear fog light and reverse light wiring)

Hello everyone,

I've just bought my B and it has a minor problem: the rear fog light is wired always on, the reverse light is wired in the place of the rear fog (it is activated when I press the button on the dash) and the reverse gear coupling does nothing. I believe is a wrong connection in the 104 junction. I looked under the car, under the rear bumper and in the trunk, but I couldn't find it.

Can anyone explain me how to get to it? I find the diagram in the manual to be vague. Can you recommend me a workaround?

Hi,
This may be completely unrelated but if your Barchetta was previuosly owned/registered in the UK then the fog rear foglight and the reversing light may have been swapped to opposite sides to conform with driving on the left sideof the road. This can lead to a change in the original wiring position.
I hape someone can pitch in and help you.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I don't believe it was driven in the UK. The last owner (the first one in my country) said he imported it from Germany. I'm pretty sure I can fix it if I find the junction. All the necessary wires are there (at least this is what I saw in the service manual), they just need a little swapping. But I don't want to disassemble unnecessary parts. It looks too good
