I have a 1.6SX Brava that is really old underneath. engine oil sump is leaking, front brake discs needs changing (as well as the brake pipes), transmission oil seal laceration on the drive shaft etc. However the inside and the body is decent therefore I do not have the heart to send it to the scrap yard. I can sell it real cheap if anyone is interested. May be somebody who likes doing car project, who knows their way around the car.
But until somebody interested, I might try to amend some problems to keep the car going that much longer - without spending lots of money by taking it to the garage.
1) Is it possible to have a look at the transmission oil gauge without raising the car? Is it absolut to have level surface to check it?
2)Is replacing oil seal of the drive shaft is something that can be done at home?
