what's their customer service claims service like?

i got a quote through go compare last night £317.51 £50 excess no legal cover with out mods tried to add mods it wouldnt work.

did a new quote today just using link through from topcashback (£15.15) same cover £265 mods declared, but £300 excess add legal cover and still only £290

In my experience they are OK but nothing special worst thing when our car was written off they just sent us a cheque without any formal agreement and a letter saying that's what we are sending get your stuff from the car as it will be gone!

Unsure as to what their claims services are like, but I've been looking as to who to use for insurance also - Currently with Liverpool Victoria for best pricing as a younger driver, but see that Liverpool Vic have a no-tolerance with aftermarket mods. Wonder if that's just since i'm still in in my early twenties though :S

crap on one of my friends cases, they messed around sending the cheque out, was a chance of fraud, in terms of someone else cashing the cheque but they wouldn't confirm anything

Never experienced claims, but personally cannot fault their customer service when dad had a policy with them. No admin charge to change reg plate etc.
