Live Messenger loosing connection

can happen every 2 minuites or every hour, really getting annoying, specially when people ask why i keep signing in and out lol, i've tried a reinstall with no luck, any ideas? thanks!

yeh thats what i thought but when it goes off downloads etc aren't affected

Its a wild shot, but have you tried restarting the computer?

wireless, and this has been happening since i updated from 7.5

Think Live is a tad funny with wireless, noticed this on my laptop. Unless the signal is very good to excellent it just falls over.

thanks for that, just got it on the other PC which is wireless, i'll see how that goes.

most of the time i'm right next to the router with full signal though

Funny how you mentioned that; I switched from Trillian to MSN Messenger because the damn thing just refused to connect all the time!

I use Trillian, but only for ICQ and AIM services - still prefer MSN and Yahoo clients respectively, and mIRC for IRC.
