Anyone know of a supplier for a LSD for the later rear axle (ie the diff loads from the rear) ideally European supplier due to freight & import taxes
The Lada diffs do not fit this axle, I have already been down that route
Thanks

Not that it may be of much help, but I see the 131/132 is a rear loading diff also, so maybe Argenta etc. All pretty rare though.

Thx for the info
Quaife would be happy to make me a batch of 10 or 20! 😂😂
So you placed an order? ;););)
A friends recently departed ex work mate was highly skilled and modified rear axles to take different diffs etc. Ford into MGB and so on.
Mind you as you will know with a rear loading diff, the housing also is the supports for the bearings and preload adjustments etc. So doesn't give much in the way of options.:(

Here's an alternative to a conventional LSD :-

The company's website is www.phantomgrip.com - I've no idea if this alternative to a normal lsd is worth considering.
Personally, if I really needed a lsd, I'd be looking to swap in a rear axle from some other car that had a lsd as standard or for which an lsd is available (e.g. rally version of Ford Escort).

Interesting. I have no idea how that turns your diff into LSD maybe by clamping the pinion shafts? I could see a lot of swarf being generated!
Some people have converted Ford axles but its quite a job. Wheel hubs are different, no discs on rear, 5 link axle, coils instead of leaf springs……
