I've lost all my n/s/f lights (indicator, side lights, main beam etc....) fuses are fine and bulbs are fine can any help please?

Have you cleaned the fuses. When I got my HGT sprayed contact cleaner on all the fuses and it sorted out the electrical problems.

Good idea to spray the fuses and any plugs as well.a spray round the stalks would be handy as well. You get a fin tube thatpushes on the top so you can get in the awkward places

I'll give the spray thing a try thanks for the help I'll let you no if it works, thanks again

I've tried cleaning the contacts and fuses etc... still no luck do you think it could be a wiring problem? like a broken wire in the loom or something?

start at the switch and check the power going to the fusebox
if you get power check for power coming away from fusebox
if you are getting power then think about the earth,The other side ok? I would suspect the stalk

There are seperate cables so it's possible the stalk is working on one side and not the other. if you have a multimeter you can check if the power is gong to the duff lights just by turning the circuit on and with the meter put red lead on the powe and black lead to earth. set the meter at above 12v dc

I've checked to see if I have power going to lights which resulted in none so I think changing the stalk might be the best option do you no where I could get 1 from?

explore all options first That is: Are you getting power coming FROM the switch to the fuse box after switch is turned on? Check for indicators as well. BTW does all 4 hazards work?

How would I go about checking to see if I have power coming from the stalk to the fuse box? Sorry but me and car electrics do not mix give me a headgasket or something I'm fine but no electrics, oh yea and no the hazrads aren't working on the n/s/f

Its simple if you know which the fuses are. You can use a meter or rig up a 12v bulb with a couple of wires: Take out the fuse and turn on the lights
Put one lead into one side of the fuse and the other to earth. Do this to both sides of the fuse recess. You should get a reading from one side. If you do, turn off the light and the reading or light, if you usea bulb, will go out. that will tell you that the switch is working and should be going through the fuse if that is ok.If you get no reading then try the wire coming from the switch Should be the same colour. If no reading then it is the stalk switch.

I've checked that, seems fine I have power then when I switch it off it goes I even changed the fuses but still no lights any further advice?

Try the relays now then, i don't know exactly where they are but perhaps sombody will know. it seems the problem is after the fusebox so just have to trace the wires from there. but i cannot understand all the left side going off as they are on different circuits. ie. side lights, headlights, indicators. the onlt common element they have is the earth. but that would not affect having no power to the lights. as you suspected in the begining you probably have a dodgy connector somewhere

i think it's time to take it to a garage or get an electrician, thanks for the advice I'll let you no what it is when i manage to get it fixed thanks again
