lights not working!

I hope someone can help me...I've got a problem with my lights!...The sidelights, rear lights, fog lights and dash lights are all not working..

Has anyone got any clues to what it might be?

I've checked the fuses and they are all OK...

I've taken it to a few garages....and no luck there...

This is a classic. Check 10 amp (red) fuses again with a meter. if they are ok, spray the fuse holder with switch cleaner. if still no joy then check the power to the fusebox feeding that circuit, a cheap multi-meter is ideal for testing

I've tried that...I even swapped the fusebox just now...I've still got the same problem...


I dont know what it is because there is power going into the fusebox....all the bulbs are fine...

could it be the wires???

Doubt if it is the wires, very unlikely to have a short without blowing the fuse. you got power going to the fuse? now check the power exiting the fuse. One other thing it could be is an earth lead.hard to tell without checking everything out.

OK just checked...

right...there is no power going to the 10amps there are 3 in a row..that have got no power i dont know why because there is power everywhere else...

u think it might just need a clean???

Yes just going to suggest that, (the light switch ) or stalk same as sabre said, they have a habit of going, Go to local scrappy or pick one up off ebay. Problem solved

i've never heard of the stalks stopping the dash or anything inside the car lighting up. Only the headlights/sidelights etc.
dont spend too much on one at the scrappy

When my stalks gave up the ghost the heater fan packed in, heated rear window, wipers - front and rear - indicators and lights.
The very nice man from the AA did me a patch lead so I could get home. It was raining and getting dark, otherwise I could have got home without. Sod's Law.

I had a look at the stalk today and they seem to be fine, all in good working order...


I really don't know what it is....

Hi,
I'm not sure if the Fiat has them, but if it has it may be worth checking the Relay Units.
