General Legality of rear seat removal

i have sei seats in my cinq and they are alot higher than stock ones, i am going to keep an eye out for a decent set of buckets

yeah think i will leave the rear arb until the cage is done yes i know i will be adding alot of weight but the idea is to stop chassis flex

power to weight isn't going to be a problem as the gt lump will be providing 140+bhp what i need to do is sort out the handling as this is where my problem with this car will be and i am well aware of this

or get a pair of these

you could try move the seats back inside to try counter the weight up front.. and obviously relocate anything that can be to the rear eg. battery

battery is going bigger and in the boot anyway as it will be in the way where it is

hold on why do i get the feeling i have thread jacked here lol ooopss my bad

I like my music too much to strip out completely and go hardcore so it'll have some kind of ICE setup and carpeted false floor to try and hide as much of it as possible. Thinking about integrating compartments for all the useful stuff that gets carted around like jump leads, washer fluid, water etc. Pretty much just want to keep the whole back end clean and tidy with a big load area for shopping, etc.

sounds like a sweet plan but please for the love of god dont do what my mate did with his fizzy

he too put a faulse floor in with speakers in the side and yes it looked fantastic, but he got a flat tire and then realised in order to get at the spare he had to dismantle the whole install, he was not a happy bunny cos i was in a stripped out prelude and my spare had a different stud pattern, oooooooppppppsssssssssss

good to hear you have planned it out and not just done it and then thought about it, planning is always good, you can never over plan but if you are going to have them hinged have a quick release catch system to stop it rattling or lifting up going over bumps lol, you had prob already thought of that like

*scribbles it down*
Yes, ahem, of course I had

tbh mate, with the GT lump in there sure the extra weight wouldn't make that much difference, infact probably give the car better balance as its gonna be front heavy for sure..

to be honest this was half of my thinking plus the extra strengh will reduce chassis flex so i think it will help more than i realise with the handling prob, but the cage is going to be a very complex wrc style cage so there will be alot of extra weight but i think 180bhp should cope with an extra 100kilo's or so lol

Think stonnewst or something, said the BHP is not the problem for the cinq chassis but the torque ...

I'll never seen his seicento, but from what i read he has spent loads to get it to handle right.

i am totally expecting for it to be a knightmare to sort out the handling but hey thats half the fun lol
