Hey guys,
I`m not sure why you prefer to mount the resistors combined with led`s that don`t have canbus error free, when you can just buy these type of led-s or similar? am I missing something?

Yes, many people have tried these canbus error free LED's with varying issues. Including warning lights on the dashboard, or flickering lights. They arnt quite as good as they seem. So a resistor is the only proper way to do it.

I've seen these issues first hand and it's been reported often in these very forums.

They don't work, not all can bus setups are the same, and Fiat's is better than a lot so will still throw up errors without resistors ;)

I know have a question specifically for you pal. Did you notice that the little black box attached to the resistor gets very hot? Is this a problem?

Yes they do get warm, but shouldn't be an issue unless mounted on a combustable material :)

I have noticed my sidelights are more yellow than my nightbreaker plus dipped lights. But I'm personally not a fan of white light so reluctant to change to LEDs. The output of an incandescent bulb for me is nicer than alternative technology. But each to their own.

Interesting to see before and after pics. Looks more subtle than the searchlights on the bravo with the whole bulb unit change :D

Lmao those do seen bright, though each to their own. I find pictures don't actually do it justice, it's just a nice white light not ridiculously bright but crisp if that makes sense. I'm doing my sidelights tomorrow or the day after when I get them delivered so I can show you before and after with the LED's

I've got some led sidelights installed if anyone would like me to post a picture up when it gets dark ?

And don't worry there not as bright as my number plate lights so won't hurt your eyes ;)

Here's some pics of my sidelights they were £10 a pair from halfords however they are of good quality.

I'm using them with 6000k hids however ill be changing them soon as I want the hids to match the sidelights. ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1401794988.876334.jpgImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1401795001.540673.jpgImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1401795016.132655.jpg
