Hi All,

I know there have been LOTS of repeated threads about using LED's for the DRL's with no luck. However, I have a solution. It's probably not that easy (which is why I'm asking :D).

My plan is to solder some resistors in parallel in the headlight loom. I also know that it is risky and could be expensive.

I was just wondering if any of yous had tried this? Did it work or not so much? And do you think I am being stupid attempting this...

TIA

Yeh I have MTecs at the moment which are better than stock. But I also own a set of Osram LED ones and they are far superior IMO, it's just they turn off after one ignition on/off and show errors.

It’s been a long time since I looked at this, and it’s late and I’m not very well this week so I may have completely gotten this wrong, however I seem to think you need very low resistance resistors in parallel which in this instance would generate a hell of a lot of heat which would need to be dealt with some how.
