Leccy windows.....help please

Hi all,
whenever i drive EJ's car (1.8 HLX), i enjoy his 'one touch' leccy windows..and with mine, I have to press & hold until window is fully open / closed.

When I drove Speersy's car (1.6 HLX), both driver and passenger had this wonderful facility. Is there a way I can have this fitted to my 1999 S reg 1.6 SX?

I thought it could be as simple as a relay swap.

Please advise.

I believe the culprit is a black VHS size box just above the glovebox. Chance that if you got one from a a HLX+ and fit it you might have this useful feature, but be aware the passenger window doesn't one-touch up (safety probably)

On mine it was a big green relay next to the small yellow central locking relay. Smaller than a VHS though!

But swapping one from a higher spec model might just work!

i have these so called one touch windows on my 1.2 sx MK2 was this an additional option when the car was made?

So tell me James do both your windows have the one touch window up and down or is it just the drivers side.

No, it was standard on the Mk2 SX

My HGT has one-touch on the drivers side but normal on the passenger side. I thought that one-touch were for drivers only ?

My local fiat garage are not sure of the differences, the parts CD shows the same motor and switch for all models.

i think it must be a relay. Oh well, that's the Bravo for ya.

Take mine for example.it's a MK2 in a MK1 shell. he he

I think the shells were the same, just cosmetic changes like the grille.
