guys does anyone know where i can also get an hgt cat back exhaust(hgt) online. need do something soon exhaust is about to fall off

most sites dont cater for the hgt. do u know of any? just my luck thay my exhaust is knackered when im about to puchase an air filter

if you want a normal one just call in at quickfit, horrible place but open convienient hours, i found to be the cheapest for my 1.6 and they come with a 2yr warrenty, most places only give 1yr

Fastfiat do though? You'll find they're all pretty expensive for HGTs though, that's just part of the pleasure of having one!

Try Angel Tuning aswell for a supersprint system, Ozric-Al had a supersprint from there last week, and Nige gives discount for Boo members too, I do believe! (Still not exactly cheap though!

Just wait til you fit an induction kit! The HGT's growl is like nothing on earth!

Is it a 155? If it is then the standard part is Fiat only and will cost you £295 fitted!

FastFiat is your only option now as Nige's suppliers have stopped stocking them. :(

Abarth Valve Caps ;); Clear Repeaters; Supersprint cat-back;
Bonnet Lifters; Personalised High Level Brake Light; Starsky Cardigan :)

ben b that site is good mate. are the exhausts any good and what do you think of the kn filter think im going to purchase all the gear tonight

147 HGT OE exhaust is about £190 fitted.

Supersprint is the Mutts nuts! Trust me. ;)

Supersprint exhausts (ei from fastfiat, lower down the exhaust page) are renouned to be the best aftermarket exhausts from everyone I've heard who's got them! (I'm too cheap personaly!)

K&N, even though they seem to be the best make, are a thin 'paper' type filter, and so tend to get clogged up quicker than the foam filter type induction kits.

The only thing pretty much distinguishing between cheaper universal filters and big-brand name ones (other than flashy enclosed ones etc)is the brand name ones come with the exact size tubing. And that's about it! So if you find a nice universal one, just buy the tubing individually, or find pipes that will fit. Proper silicon hose costs a fortune, but other tubes of the right size can probably be found at scrappies, (or even in your engine bay- look at the tube linking your air-feed behind the radiator to the airbox- it worked on my 1.6 anyway!).

I personally got some ali tubing from my local Motorspares quite cheap (click my sig pic for pictures) and fitted a universal filter for about £55 all-in

does anyone know how good the sportex exhausts are im about to place an order for 3 inch twin oval

ben there is such a difference in price. in two minds whether i pay the extra money and get the supersprint or get the sportex and save money.

It's each to their own MG really. I can't vouch for the Sportex as I've never heard or driven one. The Supersprint is on mine and is very nice. Can't recommend it enough. Nice sound (not chav-loud, quite subtle with a nice burble at tickover and nice roar under load which tails off nicely at steady speed) and power/torque are improved with the added bonus of improved fuel economy. My MPG has gone up 10% since it was fitted and seems to still be improving. :)

Pipes

Really!!!! hells bells best be getting one me thinks. only got a 1.4 brava do you think it could make a difference on it?

Iceash

Re: Pipes

Possible I guess. Don't know if they make them for the 1.4 though.
