I am still collecting the parts to build a replica '695'--I would like to build an engine that really IS 695cc and found an Italian web site for a company called LAVAZZA TECNO. They seem to be very succesful with their racing engines and are offering a '695 Kit' comprising of barrels, pistons, rods, camshaft and strengthened fan for a very sensible price (just under E800 plus VAT and carriage)--does anybody out there have any experience of this company to help me make a decision--any input beit possitive or negative would be appreciated:confused:

I can't vouch for the kit but they have got some seriously nice looking kit on their website. That inox corsa exhaust looks like it means business!

Tom, if you decide to order it, I'd be interested to know what you think of it.

Hi folks; I will keep everybody advised regarding the 'Lavazza Techno' 695 engine kit. I am unlikely to purchase it before the new year; this is because (and it seemed a good idea at the time!) I will be racing a 51ft yacht across the Atlantic to St Lucia during November and the 1st half of December. Just in case you're doubting my sanity, as does my wife, I have been sailing and racing offshore yachts for about 45 years, so I have some experience. Until I go, I will try and help wherever and whenever I can--use the force readers:)
