Hi Folks, I am a Newbie here, so be gentle for my first post please.;):D

I am looking to buy the latest Doblo in the next couple of months, but I will occasionally need to remove the second row of seats. Just how easy is it to do. ? I am assuming that they are not quick release and that it will be a spanner job. Any tricky bits ?

Anyone know ?

No spanners, really ? The seats by the sliding door ? Blimey thats a surprise, none of the brochures seem to mention that at all, and all of the dozens of pics on the net just show the seats folded forward hard against the drivers seat.

Thats something of a relief. (y)

And they are on gas strut thingymabobs so they lift up real easy! Very neat!

Jon.

No I am only talking about the 5 seater not the seven seater. So from reading the link, it sounds like its 4 bolts to get the 2nd row out on the latest car. I often need to move rigid boxes that are about 5 foot 8 inches long. Hence the need to remove the seats as there won't quite be enough space with the seats tumbled forward.

If I ever get to see one of the new Doblos close up (only seen about 3 on the road) I'll let you know but I would have a good look at a dealers first if I were you as I understand that some rear seats are very difficult to unbolt from the car and rather awkward and heavy to move single handedly.

Yes, I know in my heart that is the answer. There are none at the two dealers in my immediate vicinity, but I am hoping to have a trip out in the next couple of weeks for a closer look some elsewhere.
