large key keyboard or other input device

Basically this guy can only use his fist or a bit of his thumb to type if some one tapes it to stick out a bit for him.

so we need to find him a cheap as possible large key keyboard or is there another device that i haven't heard of. i don't think speech software will me able to understand him.
he cant afford nothing expensive, so if there is some thing and people know of a charity that would buy it for him that would help too.
