lancia wheels-1.jpg

I've got some VGC 14" Lancia wheels that fit perfectly on Cinq/Sei. Whoever had them originally spent a fortune on boring, spacing and all the correct bolts. Mint Yoko A539's too.

What do you guys think they are worth?

You're right those tyres are most likely shot wherever they might now be. Be serious. Look at the pictures...
That's why the previous owner provided me with receipts for a complete new set last October, didn't think I need to state the obvious.

....What do you guys think they are worth?

Just because some muppet paid slightly over the odds doesn't make them worth more. Two alloys re-bored???
Lancia CB =58.1cm, Cinq CB =58.1cm WTF!

Seems a bit strange you buy a rare Cinq 500M, spend time & money on getting the engine sorted (y)
.... & then start flogging bits off
esp when they are such nice alloys with good tyres.

Quality name drop...

I realise someone paid over the odds to have the wheels fitted properly, which was why I was asking the combined intellect of the Fiat Forum for their thoughts. I agree about the rebore, but I trust Elite, being who they are, they knew what they were doing. The spacers interlock with the hub and the bore of the wheel, so i presume there were good reasons for their methods.
Also I would like them to go to someone who appreciates them. They are cool, and in really good condition, it would be a terrible waste to scrap them.

Please don't think I'm destroying the 'magic' of this old 500m.It's just that I want to go with the original wheels, for handling and originality. I'm a bit old school. This is a very considered approach on my behalf and nothing is being done without due thought and process.

The poor thing was in a terrible state and very sorry for itself, I like to think it'll appreciate my efforts when it is back to shocking GTI's like when it was first made!

Be interesting to know what they bored out....
yellowoscar has already provided some of the answer-
"Elite, being who they are, they knew what they were doing. The spacers interlock with the hub and the bore of the wheel, so i presume there were good reasons for their methods".
I'm guessing it's because of the 'extra power' of the UAD engine . Seems a bit OTT to me, but hey ho safety is everything esp if you're going to fit them to something like a 1.2 16v Cinq ;)
Still think those wheels look damn good & should be kept on the car (or at least kept). Not sure changing from 185/50/14 to the original 175/50/13 is going to make that much difference to the handling, but according to the engine/gearbox combo it will effect the performance :(

Lol^^^^ everyone has a set of seicento abarth wheels theyd swap :p id say 150 would be a fair price... regardless of spacers ect... id say the wheels with tyres arent worth much more, the wheels arent rare in any respect... as james says he bought a set for 60quid ..

I know i wouldnt pay more for a set of wheels with spacers if they were required to fit the vehicle

EDIT: that said... the only reason id pay that much would be on the assumption the tyres were proved new and the fact that the wheels actually come with tyres

I disagree the 14s are probably rarer than the 15s

Somebody who wants them will pay for them. I agree with lee too as there is an extra cost of studs and spacers involved but that's a price you pay for something you want

I'm not being biased as I have a set. They do come up for sale just not often.
