hi,if any body had same problem and found a fix
my lamdba sensor has seized itself in the top of the exhuast manifold
i got a 22mm lambda sensor socket of ebay but all its done is rounded of the nut (have been spraying with wd40 for a week now,460ml can ,used full can). i also have tried heating the nut and then exhaust(2 separate try's over two days),i have now welded the socket to the nut (lambda sensor)and using a 2ft wrentch tried to turn with two 16 stone men trying and still will not move.....i have not welded the nut to the manifold so i am at a complete loss of what to try next

any ideas.....will take crazy ones...otherwise its a new manifold, unless someones got a secondhand one or knows what other manifold fit a petrol 20001 multi

drill a new hole weld a nut of appropriate size fit new sensor there forget about the old one.:D

hi jtdman....thats a very, very good idea, that really had not crossed my mind

hi dave, had though about taking out manifold as a last result

think there both are good ideas, will take off manifold and vice it,if that still fails will start drilling,(can drill it better out than in)will let you know how i get on,thanks guys
