I have Fiat punto mk2b (2005) 1.2 8v. First the problem started when the car jerked sometimes and it once gave me the error code from the ignition cole. I replaced both ignition coils, spark plugs and cables. The car ran fine after this couple of weeks. Now it started to use more fuel when cold and the engine sales sometimes on idle when the motor is cold. It now gave me the error code p0130 and p0135. I cleaned the lambda sensors with electronic spray and after this it only gives me the code p0130 every time I start the engine. The other lambda was really dirty and black. Now the car runs sometimes fine and sometimes it sales little when the engine is cold. I also think it doesn't accelerate always so good anymore. I also checked the map sensor and it was little wet of some liquid (fuel maybe?).
So my questions are is it probable that I need to replace both lambda sensors or might it be the map sensor that is the problem? I know there is a tiny leak in the back of the exhaust pipe but I guess this couldn't cause this much problems since it has been there for awhile and the car has worked perfectly before.

switch them and check if it will show other error code

I forgot to mention that I already tried this. First it only gave the p0135 when I switched them. After awhile it started to give again only p0130. I also started to take the battery cable off to "reprogram" them. First it really sailed on the idle but then it went back to normal after I had driven awhile. However it still feels that it doesn't have the full power always and the error code P0130 comes to the memory every time I run the engine. However it doesn't light up the engine light. It also seems that when I change speeds it always takes a moment to get to good fuel economy (if the Computer on fiat shows it right). This could probably mean that the lambdas doesn't react so fast anymore?

Hi mate, could you use your fancy bit of software to tell me what the code P0420 relates to?

Mine is the 16v engine if that makes any sort of difference.

Thank you very much.
