Hi guys,

I've joined this forum as a last resort.

We have a diesel engine powering a sprinkler system and I am trying to find injector liners for it, all I have is the following information

The current sprinkler system is powered by a Fiat 6 cylinder diesel engine and we are struggling to locate the exact model to order parts to repair the engine, which currently has a water leak probably due to frost damage over the winter period.

On the block there are the following markings

FIAT
4842542
IG 24
FB
TEKSID V

I have already contacted TEKSID and they are unable to help me

I'm probably looking for a needle in a haystack but I really do hope one of you guys can help me.

teksid are the company who used do the castings aren't they? they were then sold to Fiat Powertrain.

what is the system for, building sprinkler system?

what do the injectors look like, are there any part numbers on them - chances are they're made by another company.

Its a sprinkler system in a warehouse.
Not sure what the injectors look like but I will find out and also see if there are any numbers anywhere.

I PM'd Jug for u, and he knows of no 6 cylinder FIAT diesel, so probably an Iveco built under licence.
