A MK2 Fiat Brava TD100 SX!

Ok its not a JTD but I don't care! I have no intention of getting a diesel tuned and decided I was in need of:

1. Better fuel economy
2. To remain within the Bravo/a Marea family of cars
3. Bigger boot

The diesel came up, the price was very good and the mileage is just silly at 29,200!

Paint work needs some serious TLC but I'll get it gleaming in no time. I get the impression its been sitting around a lot. So far the wheels have been transferred and its been cleaned once so far. Not had time to do anything else!

A prospective buyer of the Bravo took it for a test drive today and really liked it. He said yes and then I told him to think about it (its a mate so I'm wanting him to make an informed decision away from the initial 'woo' factor of a different car). Time will tell on that one!

Cambelt, water pump and full service booked in as I started it up today and thought it did sound rather rough. I know its a tractor and they don't sound like a V8 but couldn't help but think it sounded rougher than it should. I'll get it serviced and see what differences that makes. Not only that, if there is anything majorly untowards, I'm sure I'll be told by my doom and gloom mechanic :)

So there you have it. No pics I'm willing to post up just yet but once I get a couple of things sorted I'll post some pics. In the meantime there is my signature to look at lol.

See I did say its no Alfa 147 GTA :D Suits me tho!

Looking good especially with the alloys.
Well, good luck with the car.

Oooo a bit different...

Why did you have to get a WHITE one though? You're gonna have to be forever cleaning it for a start to get it to look good... I dont like white cars... But its your car and you obviously like it, so thats what matters

I agree with Andy, the wheels look good :)

Cheers folks :)

Kate: I so wanted my next car to be white. I'm always cleaning my car and white demands constant upkeep.... magic :)

Besides, its different. There's not that many white Bravo/a around that I've noticed.

I really like the black on white look :)

Hahahaha, nice one!

Got me all gloomed out - thought you were leaving the Fiat world :p

Really liking the new Brava - after my trip abroad, (where the popular choice in car colour is white) I've since warmed up to it - and must say, this new Brava suits it well!
