Knocking Sound

I found that problem with mine by putting a metal bar between the joint and levering it to check for movement in the joint.

Whats funny is the garage I took it to for the work doing.... then took it back to when the noise started swore that they didnt touch those bolts and said they were tight. When I checked it was obvious that the bolts had been undone / tightened.

Some people are just monkeys when it comes to putting things back together properly. At least they fixed my original problem though.
