Yet another Problem! When I drive ova any bump on the road the left wheel area makes a bump/knock sound. I thought the wheel mite b loose and checked it but all is fine. Is it something to do with the suspension/shocks? also it seems worse if i turn and hit bump, for example going around a corner and going ova a relief in the road or a pot hole.

Can anyone give me the bad news?
Cheers

sounds like a CV joint or wheels bearing.. my guess wheel bearing.

Ur local guarge should be able to tell you... although don't go to an AA service centre.. they changed everythign under the sun.. and still din't fix it... it was the bearring into the gearbox.

Wheel Bearing 1st choice!

Suspension noises

There is a know fault where knocks from the front suspension are caused by a worn lower arm.

Or so I have read here....I have been ignoring these suspension noises on my car for the last year!

The 'known fault' is called wear and tear :)

Replace them, you might find the car handles a bit better.

When thsi happened to mine it was cos my caliper was loose, brakes changed recently?
