Grande Punto Knocking and vibrations

Hello out there, first post on here so bare with me

Right, details. I have a GP 1.9TD and after having a new set of tyres put on the front a knocking has started on the offside (drivers side), its coming from right under the footwell, and a vibration/moaning when turning the steering wheel about 35-40 degrees each way.

Anybody out there got any ideas?

Best thing is check if there are no bolts loose, it can be your anti roll bar bushes, drop links, or track rod end. Try to check movement in drop links, seems to be a common fault.

hey, thanks for getting back to me pal.
turned out to be a anti-roll bar drop link on the nearside causing the knocking.
as for the vibration coming through the steering wheel, im not sure. it could be a number of things. i think im going to have to bite the bullet (again) and take the car to a garage to sort it.
