Kind of O.T. How much for a new key for a punto?

I'm thinking of buying a punto sporting MKII but it only has one key.
How much do you think it would cost to get another done?

If you have the master key and no alarm then Timpsons should be able to code and cut for £30. I called Fiat and they wanted £36 for the key and a further £24.50 for coding plus VAT !!! Timpsons had no problem copying and they gaurantee the work...had no problems

i'm quite sure that the mk2 punto never had a red/master key.

Well, any key will do. They can tell you before they cut the key if they can code it or not. So always worth a trip to the shop to find out. Save you a small fortune if they can
