so lots of people have trouble gettin keys right? if u not got red master garages try to tell u too replace all locks...etc and for only £1000 well if u live in the northwest there is a locksmith who can cut keys and programme it to start ur engine providing u have one that already does this! and for a bargain £20 per copy! reply if ur interested and can give u the number!

Most locksmiths can clone keys now. Certainly Timpsons (in most major towns) can do it.

anybody know of anywhere near leics that does this cos i really need to get a spare key sorted but i only got the one blue one and no id numbers or anything

Yes...Timpsons and most other places can clone the blue key...but what happens when you need the red one???

...but i do agree £720+vat just to get 1 red + 2 blue keys is a bit of a rip off.

Just out of interest, has anyone actually had to use thier red key???...i have spoken to a few people off the forum, who have never had to use it...

Its easy enough to look Timpsons up on the web, where you will find they have 3 stores in Leicester. If you are local you could even try the Yellow pages.

I have come across no-one who has ever had to use the red key other than for programming new Fiat supplied blue keys into the immobiliser. If you never buy a new blue key from Fiat, you will probably never have to use it.
