Technical Keys and wiring questions

Hi guys been reading around for a bit and couldnt get my head around a couple of things!

1st with relation to the keys i believe my MK1 1999 has remote locking as on the blue key theres a button! I dissasembled the blue key to swap the batteries out as its never worked since we've had it and the insides are broken completley - i have the red key.
What would i need to do about getting another key to get the remote locking working (provided thats what this key does!)

2nd Im going to be fitting an amp in the boot so does anyone know the best way to get from battery into car? I havn't had a proper look yet but if someone has an idea then it'll save me some time

my punto GT has remote locking, and they seem quite fragile.. I got 2 blue keys with the car but i had to take them both apart and ended up sacrificing one key to make the other one work.
If you need a new one then you will need to buy one from fiat, they can code the new key to your car from the red master key..

Wiring wise for your amp, i've not had a mk1 punto long enough to help you there.

If you pull back the passenger footwell carpet U will see a big black blank gromet I used that 1since its near the battery if you want working "push button" central locking buy ur self a hawk central locking kit for £20 and free p+p or for a bit more cash U could get the 1i have witch is an alarm system as well

Buying the £20 kit will be way cheeper than Gering a key made to work from fiat ect

Nope and you will pay a few £££ for it to be programed to your car think I was quoted £40 just for a standard key and the chip copy so it would start my car
