I had the same problem, just spilt the key and re-solder the points on the microswitch that is pressed under the rubber button, the points become displaced sometimes, if they are not at fault take the batteries ount and prise the metal tabs (that tounch the batts for power) up so thay are more taught against the batteries, this makes a better connection that also has been the fault with another of my keys. If u dont feel confident soldering take it 2 ure local electronics type shop, my local steady hand did it for £1.50!!! compare that to the £80 fiat charge for a replacement!
