key problem!

ive just bought a 1999 v reg bravo 100 hlx. i got given the red key & 1 blue key.. the blue key wont start the engine.. ive heard this is a pretty big problem.. i rang a delaership who wanted to charge me a massive amount of money just for them to run a test.. can anybody give me any suggestions? am i stuffed?

I think U can make a duplicate blue key from the red 1.
The place that can do that is, I think Timpsons

Read your manual, tells you how to reprogram the blue key from the red key sat from the drivers seat.

Timpsons can't make a blue key from the red one.

If they code one from the red key, it'll act as another red key.
