Enquired at local dealers recently for the ubiquitous replacement rcl key for my mk2 punto 1.2 55plate here's the reply ...
The price of a new key is £356.94 Inc vat.This includes parts,Labour,key number and vat.Three proof of identity and ownership.???

It comes with a free car! My daughter sold her 2005 1.2 with 200K Klms on it for €500, that's about the same sort of money.
