Hello everyone! I have a 2013 500 pop, and it's currently being kept at my parents' house in the states while my husband and I are living in South Korea for a while. My parents have been starting and driving it regularly, however, the first time they tried was after it had been sitting in the driveway a few weeks, and it wouldn't start to they had to get it towed to the dealership. The guy there told them that Fiats need to be started at least once every two weeks to keep that from happening.
Ok, so in February/March of next year, we will be moving to Okinawa, Japan for four years (my husband is in the Air Force). Due to import laws there, we're not allowed to take my car with us
The Air Force gives us the option of storing a car in the US, however, from what I was reading the storage place only starts cars and moves the wheels once a month. Is there anything I can do to the engine to prepare it for long term storage, or would I be better off trying to sell it? I'd rather store if if I could, because when I tried to sell it before we came to Korea, I was going to have to take a $3,000 loss.
Thanks for reading my long question and any advice is appreciated!
