Technical K&N Panel Filter - Anyone Fitted One???

Having spoken with Fiat ref servicing & had it confirned that it's every 18,000miles on my 1.2 with the exception of the air filter that should be changed @ 12 months if dirty I was wondering.......

Has anybody fitted a K&N panel filter to their 500 & what were your thoughts?

The beauty of the K&N (and others) is that unlike the std paper filter they are washable so last much longer.

i have the BMC one and found that it improved throttle response/power delivery

no peak power gain over standard shown on dyno (although didn't do before/after)

Don't you just hate it when that happens.....

Looking on Ebay at filter prices & I 'accidently' hit the buy it now button on a K&N panel filter.

Until I can make my mind up on what to do with the 500 (Abarth, new diesel engined convertable or keep the one I have) I'm going to buy it a present every month.
