nice custom kit

if it were me, i'd leave the metal piping in there (mine has a mashoosive metal cold air feed https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/data/500/medium/2107cold_air.jpg but if you did want to swap the metal for plastic stylé tubing, then these are the part numbers of what you'd need;

2 inch silicone joiner from SFS performance (SCH51) £3.92
2 to 3 inch reducing elbow from SFS (RE90-76-51) £22

on a more random note... arc did u take your rocker cover off to paint it? well fancy paintin mine but heard u shouldnt take the cover off as it messes with the valves or sumthin!

You can take the valve cover off without upsetting valves. You will need to replace the gasket when you refit it. When its off, get it powder coated rather than painted, it will last longer.

i will prob leave it till i have to change the gasket on this one, may get it polished instead, well if i have the money at the time! hehe

i didnt take the cam cover off to paint it, but i should've done. However when i had the head off the engine, the cam cover has to come off then (to get to the head bolts)

cant see why itd do any harm, unless u ran the engine with it off? *shrug*

i already have man hehe...

basically he has the exact same elbow as me. but i have used a some metal stuff that they use to fix holes in exhausts!

cut it to the right diameter, bent it around the elbow, some silicone sealer and a jubilee clip over it, same again at the throttle body end, bang on, plus the benefit of mine is that the metal is

1. stainless so nice an shiny
2. built to take heat better
3. thiner and runnin on top so doesnt distort air flow as much

hehe but u will have to wait for pics as it isnt in yet!
