Today i was looking at some insurance quotes , so far cheapest i got was 1260 from tesco bank insurance fully comp that was for a 07 Grande Punto tjet .which i consider not being that bad compare to my 2555 for my current 1.2 dynamic
as i am only 20 (21in Feb) but as soon as i put mod such as window tints i just when up by 200 dont wanna to even know if i get abarth turbo or even remap ...

the quote i got from tesco bank was 1260 with me being 21 1yrs held license and 1yrs ncb

Hi
It may be better to get quotes from a mod-friendly specialist (such as us!) so that if you do add mods mid-term, you won't have any nasty surprises with large increases in premium.

You'd probably find an Abarth would come out with lower quotes than a modified 1.2 Dynamic through a standard insurer. They tend to equate mods with bad drivers, whereas the Abarth would likely be considered a 'prestige' brand, and quoted more fairly.

As Tim says though, try their scheme, or indeed Chris Knott or Adrian Flux - they all have schemes with the forum and should be able to better anything Tesco can offer.

Thats the problem, your only 21 and insurers don't like young lads driving around with any type of hot hatch cars. When I was 21 I was driving round in fiesta's XR2's and even then insurance cost a fortune.
