Multipla Just joined

Hi everyone
Looking for info we just brought a multipla from a garage and within 15 mins it broke down.
Problems are
1.hard to get into gear
2.No power
3.Black smoke
4.Big knocking noise when changing gear
5.Water leak
6.Oil leak
The car came with 3 months warranty would all above be covered or should i request my money back.
The test drive was fine when we first took it out that was 2 months ago.he dropped the price so we went for the deal,
Is there any other known faults we should look out for during the warrany period.
Any help would be gratfully received.

Some people will say give them a chance to put it right, I will say get your money back, ASAP.

Get a refund mate not worth the hassle! Maybe get your money back and look for a nice tidy one that'll give you less problems

I'd go for a full refund as well, with that many major faults, you can pretty-much guarantee that won't be the end of the problems.

Even without a Warranty, you're still covered by the Sale of Goods Act.
You may also have some basic cover if you paid by Credit Card.

Hi everyone,
Just a update the car is back form the garage the egr valve was stuck open,been cleaned.
They say water leak is the aircon.
Oil leak was leaking oil filter (loose)
The knocking noise is the suspension and wishbone not covered under warranty?
Gear selection problem worn selector not covered?
Were gunna try again and then start to demand refund

I don't get why a garage would sell a car not up to the standard its wrong and at the end of the day it's going to cost them more on repairs and giving you a refund! Silly really :L

Sounds as if that was not even MoT-worthy at sale.

Probably an illegal transaction under the sale of goods act...
