I've just recieved a Vehicle Safety Recall Notification on my Ulysse JTD. I presume all you other Ulysse owners have had the same notice. I think my car might have the problem with the condensation leaking into the passenger compartment, as the carpet is soaking wet underneath. My issue with this is, the nearest Main Dealer is approx 10 miles away. I will have to take a day off work, travel home from the Main Dealer's on Public Transport, and then return via Public Transport to the Dealers towards the end of the day. The Dealer tells me that I am not entitled to a Coutesy Car, or any expenses towards travel to or from the Dealers. I have rang Fiat UK and have raised a 'Case' about this. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is going to experience this 'Inconvienence' and urge anyone else in the same boat, to do the same.

I believe this is an old safety recall. I wonder why it's taken so long to get to you. In light of it being so over due I'd press for a replacement car.
If not take a sleeping abg and just sleep int he back of the car. They may decide that lending you a car is better than you being in the car and watching them.
:)

I have asked them, but they still won't. I've sent a letter of complaint to Fiat Uk, so I'll see what comes of that. In the Recall letter it does say that this is the 4th time they have sent letters out to owners. How long ago did you get yours?

Just bought an Eleganza today on a "53" registration. Do I need the letter to be entitled to the work being done? Never done this before so do I have to pay for the recall? So I simply turn up with my Ulysse and they fix it?
